PTM Programs in Action

In December 2025, Sandlot Baseball adopted a family in need thru  GIVE- The Society of St. Vincent de Paul program. We invited the other teams in our Sandlot Series Tournament to participate with us.  We raised over $1,000 in Christmas gifts and money donations to provide the family with a happy Christmas! 

Sandlot loves to volunteer as a team. We frequently visit Feed my Starving Children, where as a team we hand-pack nutritious MannaPack® meals specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition. Check out Feed my Starving children website at https://www.fmsc.org/

One of the most rewarding experiences for our young athletes is Miracle League of Arizona. Miracle League of Arizona provides a safe and successful baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special health care needs. It's important to protect our young athletes from the dangers online. Sandlot participated in a Social Media Safety and Awareness Class hosted by the Gilbert Police Department, 

Sandlot likes to spend quality time with some of the residents at our local retirement homes. We have played board games, bingo and even painted pumpkins at Halloween! 

Sandlot hosted a Hits for Heroes Veteran's Tournament. We invited local veterans and active service members to join us for great baseball and provided lunch. Players decorated the fields with handmade thank you veterans posters. All proceeds from the weekend were used to purchase care packages thru Troopster.com.
